Heily Chavez is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Aging and Serious Illness at the Mongan Institute. At the Center, Heily works on studies that seek to improve communication and care for older adults affected by dementia and the experiences of older adults living with chronic pain. As part of the Learning Network team, she supports data collection and analysis to improve quality of care in home-based medical care. She received a B. A. in Physics and Minor in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where her research experience focused on first-time parents. In her free time, she loves reading and experimenting with baking recipes!
